We are the church that serves this contemporary age with a timeless gospel! We have been “REACHING, PREACHING, AND TEACHING” since 1833.
Our current movement is led by our dynamic senior pastor, Pastor Robert Earl Houston, Sr., 49, with his loving wife, Lady Jessica G. Houston, by his side. Under his leadership FBC has grown into one of the largest congregations in the area with over 270 members who have joined our church since Pastor Houston’s arrival in April 2009. Pastor brings 32 years of preaching and 20 years of pastoral expertise to contribute to the rich history of First Baptist Church.
STEPS is the way we do things here at First Baptist Church! S - Studying; T - Tithing; E - Evangelizing; P - Praying; and S - Saintly Peace. Our goal is to be a studying congregation that is not stingy in our giving, while evangelizing the world as we pray for our church, pastor, and our families, and above all keep saintly peace within the domain of our congregation!
